About Me

From Hotel Kitchen to Treatment Room

I'm a Licensed Massage Therapist in Florida, board certified through the NCBTMB and certified in Neuromuscular Therapy.

I work with hospitality and healthcare workers whose backs, hips, legs and feet carry the weight of long days. Before this, I spent almost twelve years as a banquet server and then managing a hotel kitchen, hurting daily and sleeping four or five hours a night. A therapist doing real neuromuscular work got me sleeping again. Now I want to give my old coworkers that same care.

Testimonials
“

I've been on my feet overnight for nine years and figured the lower back pain just came with the job. After a few sessions with Rick, I'm not limping out to my car at 7am anymore. The biggest surprise was my sleep. I actually stay asleep after a shift now. He listens, he remembers what hurt last time, and he never rushes you.

Twelve-hour nights left my hips and hamstrings so tight I couldn't sit through a movie. Rick found trigger points I didn't know I had and showed me two stretches I can do on my break. I book every three weeks now. It's the one appointment I never cancel. He gets what shift work does to your body.

Credentials
I am a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in the State of Florida. I completed a 500-hour massage therapy program. I am Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) and certified in Neuromuscular Therapy.
Why I Do This Work
I spent almost twelve years in hospitality in Orlando, first as a banquet server and later managing a hotel kitchen. By my late 30s my lower back and feet hurt every day and I was sleeping maybe four or five hours a night. A therapist who did real neuromuscular work helped me start sleeping again within a couple of months, and now I want to give people like my old coworkers what that therapist gave me.
My Values
I honor the hard work and dignity of the people who keep the city running. I focus on root-cause neuromuscular relief and functional self-care rather than temporary pampering. I treat restorative sleep and pain-free movement as essential, and I want to protect your ability to keep doing the work you love and enjoy your life at home.
What Clients Face
Many of my clients work 12-hour shifts on their feet, often on hard concrete floors. They live with lower back, hip, leg and foot pain and poor sleep. Many have tried new shoes, insoles and compression socks, or standard spa massages that only help for a day or two.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage is one of the techniques I use. I adjust pressure to what feels right for you that day.
Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage is one of the techniques I offer. I also use neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage and assisted stretching.
Assisted Stretching
Assisted stretching is one of the techniques I offer to what feels right for you that day.
Service Area
My service area is 8 Miles. Clients come to my studio at 7345 W Sand Lake Rd, Orlando, FL.
Parking
I have street parking available nearby for my clients. You'll be able to find convenient parking close to my massage therapy location.
